Overview

Voltage Detecting Systems (VDS) are designed to monitor the presence or absence of operating voltage in electrical networks, ensuring reliable system performance and operator safety. Each system comprises:

● Voltage Detecting Insulator (VDI) / Capacitive Voltage Divider (CVD) – Provides accurate voltage sensing.

● Voltage Indicating Unit (VIU 12A) – Displays and controls voltage status with integrated relay outputs for protection and automation.

These systems are widely used for fault detection, system interlocking, and line condition monitoring, making them essential for high-reliability power infrastructure.
